Do you provide food for parties and can we bring our own?

No, we do not but you are more than welcome to bring your own. We have a pack up time of half an hour at the end of the party in which you can give the children food. We cannot be responsible for the children and we ask that the facilities are not used during this time. Please do not bring nuts or fruit shoots (the lids are tricky to find in the woods) and we cannot take responsibility for any dietary requirements when providing your own food. Please respect our natural environment and take your rubbish with you.

What time can I arrive before the party?

You are more than welcome to enter the forest school half an hour before the session starts.

Can I bring decorations for parties?
​
Yes. The forest will be beautiful enough but feel free to bring decorations. We politely as that you do not bring confetti / confetti balloons, piñatas and party poppers. If you could make these as eco friendly as possible, please do!

What if people are late?
​
Don't panic! We start with crafts to manage how many children are around a table at one time. This gives people time to arrive. We do not leave the Forest School until 45 minutes into the party. We do ask people to arrive 10 minutes before the session begins so that they do not miss out on the activities.

What if people don't turn up?
​
We will need the confirmed numbers at least a week before so that we can plan accordingly. We are not able to give refunds for no shows.
How many children can we have maximum / minimum?
15 minimum
30 maximum

If there are less than 15 children, you will still need to pay for the whole package. If there are more than 30 children we can split the group and do it over two sessions.

Do you need to pay for siblings if they don't take part?
​
We like to include everyone. All children will want to get involved in the fun, therefore we ask you to pay £8 per extra child.

Can the session times be changed from those displayed on the website?
​
Sure, just ask :)

Can the children wear fancy dress?
​
Yes definitely! No cloaks or anything that cannot be taken off whilst we are doing the fire please.

Will I get phone signal in the woods?
​
Not much, so please do not rely on this. Incase of emergencies we have a house on site in which we can use the phone.
